
Best thing to do is go into DosBox settings and change the window resolution to match your lines of resolution vertically, then set the Windows taskbar to not cover windows so that the DosBox window can effectively fill the vertical space.

It looks to me as if the proper output resolution for the command prompt is not switched (window stays in 320x200 size). The default config for dosbox will try to set the output to VGA, what should work but apparently doesnt on your setup and isnt all that great anyway. Presuming you have a vertical res of 1080, you have to compromise one way or the other, and the "pixel perfect" patch is actually a misnomer in that it does compromise aspect correctness in favor of sharp pixels. On all versions of DOSBox, I get generally decent results with: output=openglīut note that unless your monitor has a minimum vertical resolution of 1200, it is mathematically impossible to get both perfectly sharp pixels and correct aspect ratio with typical games.
